●The device VPU AC I 3+MOV R 950/12.5 is a type I surge protector (SPD). It is used for protecting low-voltage consumer installations and electrical or electronic devices from the surge voltages which occur from atmospheric discharges (lightning) or from switching operations (transients).
●VPU AC I 类型的使用取决于不同的网络系统、电压（Uc > 1.1 Un）和所使用放电器的数量。安装应在遵守所有的国内规定、安全准则（符合 IEC 60364-5-53 或 DIN VDE 0100-534）、国内标准以及设备特定标准或规则的情况下执行。
●The type of VPU AC I to use depends on the various network systems, the voltage (Uc > 1.1 Un) and the number of arresters being used. The installation should be carried out in observance of all national regulations, safety guidelines (in accordance with IEC 61643-11 or DIN VDE 0100-534), national standards, and application-specific standards or rules.
