MPC-201 Fiber Optic Multifunction Polarization Control System
■The MPC-201 is a Multifunction Polarization Controller that combines General Photonics’ PolaRite™ III polarization controller with proprietary control algorithms to achieve a wide range of polarization control functionalities:manual polarization control, polarization function generation/modulation, and polarization scrambling. The instrument contains a microprocessor based control circuit packaged in a 2U-height, half-rack size package, as shown in Figure 1. The all-fiber construction polarization controller provides very wide operation bandwidth with low insertion loss, polarization dependent loss, and activation loss.
