ELI43-CP Product Change Notification Form
●Reason for Change:
■In a continuous effort to provide customers with the best ELI experience possible, FDI has made two enhancements to the ELI-43CP.
●Detailed Description of Change:
◆EDID enhancements: FDI enhanced our EDID timing parameters to improve the video compatibility across an ever-expanding group of embedded video sources.
◆Touchscreen calibration: FDI added code to our touchscreen controller allowing us to perform factory calibration. Additionally, our USB report descriptors now state that we are a Touch Digitizer Device. This allows windows computers to run OS level calibration on our ELI products. (Prior to this update, our USB report descriptors reported us as a HID Mouse.)
■These changes are 100% backward compatible.
■For easy identification of EDID revisions on ELI units, FDI has added the EDID revision number to the block 2 display descriptor. This allows the customer to read and verify their EDID revision number at any time (please note that the EDID revision number is not the same as the top level ELI product revision Number).
