ELI43-CP and ELI43-CR 20180912-01 Product Change Notification Form
●Reason for Change:
■In a continuous effort to provide customers with the best ELI experience possible, FDI has made enhancements to the ELI43-CP and ELI43-CR touch software which improves touch accuracy. Additionally, FDI adjusted our display timing to better align with the latest display manufacturers specification.
●Detailed Description of Change:
◆Touch Performance: This software provides the compatibility needed for ELI43-CP and ELI43-CR touch to work as expected when the device is not calibrated in the factory.
◆Extended Display Identification Data (EDID): FDI slightly changed the requested display timing (EDID) to better align with the latest display manufacturers specification.
■These changes are 100% backward compatible.
■For easy identification of EDID revisions on ELI units, FDI has added the EDID revision number to the block 2 display descriptor. This allows the customer to read and verify their EDID revision number at any time (please note that the EDID revision number is not the same as the top level ELI product revision Number).
