The DeWAL® DW353V series is a heat stabilized, uni-axially oriented, expanded PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) membrane product family. Available at lower densities, it has all the benefits of PTFE: exceptional chemical resistance, dimensional stability, extreme temperature range (from - 450 to +500°F), low coefficient of friction, excellentdrape characteristics, and non-stickproperties. Combined with lower densitiesthan that of full density non-expanded PTFE,the controlled pore size and naturalhydrophobicity of the expanded PTFEmembrane makes it ideal for applicationsrequiring liquid and particulate ingressprotection, while allowing for vapor releaseand pressure equalization.
