1、Case Introduction

Suning cloud Yuhua data center is located in Suning Logistics Park, Nanjing Yuhua Economic Development Zone, Jiangsu Province. It is builted as high-level data center,which accordance with the national A-level computer room standard. Suning cloud Yuhua data center support the operation of Suning's core business, such as Suning Tesco, Suning Logistics, Suning Finance, Suning Real Estate, Suning Cultural and Creative, Suning Sports, Suning Investment and other group industries, it has played a huge role in the construction of Suning Cloud Platform.


Suning cloud Yuhua data center project was began at the end of 2019, completed in June 2020 , planed to put into operation in early September of 2020. The total construction area of the data center is 11,810 square meters, and there are 8 computer rooms with about 1,400 racks.



2、Case Study

The backbone optical cable for the cluster subsystem in the park uses a 144-core single-mode outdoor armored optical cable to ensure the use under harsh outdoor conditions and the capacity expansion required when the business increases later. The data center adopts Rosenberger's advanced and mature ultra-high-density data center pre-connected optical fiber solution. In order to protect personnel and equipment from toxic and corrosive gases, all indoor optical cables use Rosenberger low-smoke and halogen-free solutions program.




The solution complies with the new data center standard TIA-942 and adopts the EOR architecture. The optical fiber solution product uses Rosenberger's 12-core MTP OM4 10-Gigabit multi-mode fiber optic cable, which easily supports Ethernet applications with 10G transmission for 300 meters and supports 40G/100G Transmission 150/100 meters international standard. Modular product solutions can be used for future 40G/100G or even 400G upgrade applications. The optical fiber distribution frame adopts the Rosenberger Norma series ultra-high density optical distribution frame, each U can support 144 core LC/48 port MTP interface, 4U can hold up to 576 cores.


As the whole adopts a new generation of ultra-low loss pre-terminated optical cable and ultra-low insertion loss optical module box technology, the attenuation performance of the overall link is much better than ISO/IEC11801, TIA/EIA 568.2-D and other new international standards requirements, not only This ensures the normal operation of Suning Cloud network communications, and at the same time creates a solid physical link foundation for future network upgrades.
