ROHM Was Selected as the “White 500“ 4 Years in A Row for Its Health and Productivity Management
On March 4, 2021, ROHM Co., Ltd. was recognized four years in a row, as the "White 500", a group of large companies showing outstanding health and productivity management, jointly selected by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI)
and Nippon Kenko Kaigi.
Introduced in 2017, this White 500, the Certified Health and Management Organization Recognition Program, recognizes both large companies and small- and medium-sized enterprises for outstanding efforts in health and productivity management, by evaluating company's engagement with regional health problems and with health-building program recommended by Nippon Kenko Kaigi.
This program endeavors to highlight these outstanding enterprises engaging in efforts to advance health and productivity management and thereby aims to create an environment in which such enterprises are able to gain enhanced social recognition, e.g., from employees, employment seekers, related enterprises and financial institutions, as organizations engaging in strategic health and productivity management program efforts for maintaining their employees' health from a management perspective.
Based on the Safety and Hygiene Policy, ROHM has been supporting the physical and mental health of all employees and establishing a comforatable work environment, in collaboration with the entral Safety and Health Committee, organizing 6 sub-committees and 2 commitees. Considering health to be one of the highest priorities, ROHM will continue to examine effective methods to improve all employee's well-being and work-life balance.
