Compared with the traditional 12V system, the high-voltage system requires a stronger seal, because the higher the voltage, the greater the possibility of fire jump.
A high voltage interlock loop (hvil) is a major feature of a high-power connection system. It is necessary for live tripping and power failure of connectors used in power electronic equipment. In order to ensure that the system is not energized, special consideration must be given to the disconnection of the system. When the connector is about to be disconnected, the high-voltage interlock circuit sends a signal to cut off the power supply in time. This function is necessary when an accident occurs or maintenance personnel needs to cut off the power supply for vehicle repair. It can help protect passengers, maintenance personnel, or the first responder of the accident.
