Booth demos to feature next-generation electromagnetic tracking platform for surgical navigation developed in partnership with Radwave Technologies.

TT Electronics, a global provider of engineered technologies for performance critical applications, exhibited at MD&M Minneapolis, booth 3701, November 2-3, 2022, at the Minneapolis Convention Center. In addition to TT Electronics’ core offerings in power, connectivity and sensor technologies, TT will again feature its extended partnership with Radwave Technologies, to deliver a full EM tracking platform including equipment and sensors that together provide novel solutions and increased accuracy in EM tracking for surgical navigation. Demonstrations were available on request at TT’s booth 3701. TT’s EM sensor capabilities developed from their medical device center of excellence in Minnesota, provided accurate device tip tracking technologies for products used within cardiology and electrophysiology, vascular, interventional radiology and oncology, neurology, ENT, orthopedics, urology, pulmonology and range of other procedural areas.

TT showcased its wider medical technology solutions, including:

EM sensor-enabled catheter and complex surgical tool solutions – EM sensor design, development, and manufacturing expertise including ultra-fine wire winding, micro-assembly, and integration into higher level assemblies and finished devices.

Implantable device and external supporting system solutions – EM solutions for communication, programming, charging, and power management.

Medical grade power supplies and solutions – reliable power conversion and management solutions that drived product performance while maintaining efficiency and safety, such as power supplies for clinical care, therapy and well-being, and home healthcare.

Smart sensors and passive components – designed to capture data, inform decisions, support data analytics, and enable artificial intelligence, these include non-contact, Hall effect sensors, infrared optical switches and arrays for detection of objects or fluids, and fixed and variable resistors for current sensing, power management, and signal conditioning.

Connectivity solutions – built to connect, sense, track, and monitor, including wearable IoT devices, and the latest wireless connectivity technologies.

Vertical Integration and Global manufacturing capabilities - FDA-registered facilities providing engineering, test development, system integration, and fulfillment services for imaging/nuclear and monitoring equipment, diagnostic instruments, and cardiology and electrosurgical devices.
