Data centers have been multiplied recently, spreading it presence all over the world with over 500,000 data centers worldwide according to Emerson. The increasing requirements for high performance applications and the growing number of IoT devices that are generating large amount of data, are two key factors contributing to the current growth of the data center market.



Existing data centers are facing a critical challenge, they need to provide world data access to a cloud based and web scale infrastructure, meaning that data centers can’t exist in isolation, they need to communicate each other, they need to share data, content and provide backup and redundancy.
