ESP8266 WIFI Module WG219 and WG229 for Smart Home Applications Compliant with 802.11b/g/n Wireless Module Standards

Why recommend ESP8266 WIFI module?
(1) It has an MCU inside, so you can use it as an MCU. Common functions include: IO control, timer, interrupt, PWM, FreeRTOS, UART, IIC, SPI, etc. Therefore, the ESP8266 can perform most of the operations that a microcontroller can perform. However, it is important to note that the ESP8266 has fewer general purpose IOs. If there are more peripheral devices, you need to consider expanding IO.

(3) ESP8266 supports two forms of antenna interface: on-board PCB antenna, IPEX interface, on-board PCB antenna and IPEX interface. Antenna customers can use directly without adding any matching circuit.
How do the ESP8266 WiFi modules WG219 and WG229 perform?
The WG219/WG229 are low power, small form factor UART-WiFi transceiver modules based on the ESP8266 chip. Compliant with 802.11b/g/n wireless module standards, they are designed for mobile devices and IoT applications. It can connect a user's physical device to a WiFi wireless network for networking functions. In addition the WG219/WG229 can be controlled via the serial port using AT commands to meet the networking function requirements.
