Parker’s New Critical Protection (CP) Hose Cover Extends Service Life in the Toughest Environments
CLEVELAND, March 7, 2023—The Hose Products Division of Parker Hannifin Corporation, the global leader in motion and control technologies, introduces the Critical Protection Hose Cover (CP Hose Cover). CP cover is a patent pending enhanced hose cover designed for the harshest environments.
Until now, the best alternative for rugged applications has been to use expensive hose guarding or complicated routings to protect the hose. Both of these methods lead to less-than-ideal routings, extra handling, and incur additional labor costs. CP cover eliminates the need for extra labor and material expense due to the design of its patent-pending cover. What makes this cover unique is the combination of impact resistance and abrasion resistance, making it the ideal choice in any application where the hose is exposed and could be subject to external damage.

Parker’s Critical Protection (CP) Hose Cover will serve customers facing demanding applications and doesn’t sacrifice hose performance or flexibility. CP Hose Cover is available in sizes 8,12 and 16 on GlobalCore 487, 777, 787, and 797 hoses.
