PANJIT newly released a series of surface mount TVS diodes which power dissipation rates of 5000W.


The rating of this series differs based on the different configurations. The rating of the unidirectional TVS diode is from 12V to 100V, and the rating of the bidirectional TVS diode rates from 12V-36V. The unidirectional TVS diode is targeted to limit the spike which occurs during hot swap which is used on server motherboards; on the other hand, bidirectional TVS diodes are broadly used for I/O Interfaces and VCC bus protection.
