Classification and Analysis of DIN Cable Components
DIN is an interface standard. DIN connectors are available in a variety of sizes, ranging from 3 to 9 pin configurations. Among them, the 5-pin DIN connector is divided into 180 °, 240 ° and 270 ° according to the arc of 1 to 5 pins. DIN connectors are widely used in analog audio, AT keyboard, mouse and MIDI applications. This article introduces the different categories of DIN interface cables.
Molded cable, DIN 5 male/male
Molded extension cable, Mini DIN 6 Male/Mini DIN 6 female
Molded cable, Mini DIN 8 male/Mini DIN 8 male
This line of premium DIN Cables, with double shielded cables (copper braided plus aluminum Mylar foil) and powerful 24 AWG wires, is ideal for any environment with high electrical noise near fans, motors or switches.
Economy molded cable, mini DIN 6 male/female
Economy molded cable, mini DIN 8 male/male
These cables are completely shielded to prevent data damage caused by electromagnetic interference/RF interference. The molded rear housing provides superior strain relief, while the 28 AWG wire can be connected in a straight line for compatibility.
