New Higher Performance eMMCs from SMARTsemi Now Available
SMARTsemi eMMCs range from 4GB to 128GB capacity and up to 330MB/s Sequential Read and 21K IOPS Random Read with devices having endurance as high as 129 TBW
SMARTsemi’s popular eMMC product line is now pushing performance to new levels with the availability of higher speed 128GB and 16GB NAND Flash eMMCs, both in industry standard 153-BGAs and industry-standard JEDEC 5.1 interface.
According to the researchers at Market Research Intellect, the global market for eMMCs will more than double by 2031 to reach $30B. Mobile consumer electronics (Smartphones and IoT devices) are surging, but other, more traditionally SMARTsemi embedded markets including medical equipment, aero defense, industrial robotics/controllers, and other home entertainment devices are also experiencing robust growth.
As a trusted supply chain partner to long-lifecycle product OEMs using embedded memory, SMARTsemi is excited by the market growth but cautious about future availability for non-Smartphone and IoT customers.
