Kendeil is proud to announce the development of a new super-high energy density capacitor screw series at 85°C.


Whenever there is the need to store huge electrical energy quantities to be delivered in a short amount of time capacitor banks are a must.


In applications such as DC filters, converters, uninterruptible power supplies, extremely bulky capacitor banks are built to fulfill the necessity of such energy transfers. 


Kendeil just developed a new high voltage/capacitance series characterized by an extremely high energy density: this upgrade not only increases the capacitance but also the rated voltage.


The energy increase is linked to the internal potential content of a capacitor, which depends linearly by the capacitance value and by the DC squared voltage (as expressed by).


Applications: Designed for industrial / research applications such as DC resonant filters, converters, energy storage systems, high power UPS, electromagnetics systems power supplies.


Main electrical improvements: Rated capacitance values mean increase of +20% with respect to our actual high density energy series (K11). Capacitance values from 22000µF to 41000µF @350V, from 19000µF to 33000µF @400V, from 17000µF to 30000µF @450V and from 11000µF to 23000µF @500V. Energy content up to 2500J @350V, up to 2600J @400V, up to 3000J @450V and up to 2900J @500V. 


Main features: Surge-proof capacitor in aluminum can with insulation sleeve and integrated safety vent in a reinforced lid. To be mounted with ring clips or with threaded stud. Super high density capacitance ratings for high voltage applications. Highest energy storage among all the series.
