SANUPS E33A and E23A for Middle and Large-Capacity Applications

SANYO DENKI provides Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS) with various capacities for Latin America.

For larger capacity needs, we offer the SANUPS E33A UPS with an output capacity of up to 600kVA with a 400V range and 3-phase power.

For middle capacity requirements, we offer the SANUPS E23A UPS with an output capacity of up to 200kVA with a 200V range and 3-phase power.

The middle and large capacity UPS is often used in applications such as:

Data Center

Air Traffic Control System

Airport Runway Lighting System

Production Line for automotive

Lighting System for a large facility

SANUPS E33A and E23A are UPS systems utilize the Parallel Processing control method, offering advantages over conventional double-conversion UPS units. SANYO DENKI patents the Parallel Processing method.

What is the Parallel Processing Method?

The parallel processing control method constantly operates in parallel with the inverter and the grid power supply without interruption even when there is an instantaneous voltage dip or blackout. It corrects the power waveform at high speed.

Under Stable Conditions: The AC grid power is supplied to the load and charge the battery. Also, the noise (harmonic) from the load side is removed using the bi-directional converter by inversing harmonics to cancel it.

During Power Outage or Unstable Condition: The high-speed AC switch opens in response to spikes or noise in the input, or power outages. It prevents the upstream flow of power for stability.  The DC/AC converter generates AC power from the battery to supply to the load unit.

These Parallel Processing UPS units feature a built-in high-speed AC switch to handle inrush current. Unlike double-conversion UPS units that require larger capacity components and circuitry to manage inrush current, the Parallel Processing UPS can operate effectively with a smaller capacity. This patented technology makes SANYO DENKI the preferred choice for highly reliable UPS systems in mission-critical applications.

Features and Benefits:

Controls Inrush Current: Manages inrush current through high-speed AC switches, allowing for smaller UPS capacity.

Prevents Noise (Harmonics): Prevent harmonics from flowing back into the grid by inversing harmonics to cancel it with a bi-directional converter.

Cleans and Stabilizes Grid Power: Uses high-speed AC switches to clean and stabilize grid power during outages.

Instant Inverter Output: Delivers inverter output instantly without transfer time compared to passive standby UPSs.

Compensates and Minimizes Battery Usage: Utilizes a bi-directional inverter with a capacitor to handle voltage surges and reduce battery wear.

Low Power Consumption: Offers low power consumption while delivering uninterrupted switching without breaks.

Reduces Costs and Improves Efficiency: Utilizes a bidirectional converter to eliminate the need for separate rectifier and inverter circuits used in double-conversion UPSs. This simplification lowers system costs and reduces component count.

* E23A and E33A are available in Latin American countries.
