Diotec‘s 1.5A, 160V Bipolar Power Transistor 2SC2983 Reliably Controls LED Indicators
Summertime is two-wheeler time. Modern LED lamps in indicators, brake lights and rear lights ensure safety. The 2SC2983 is a bipolar power transistor for driving such LEDs.
Modern LED bulbs in indicators, brake lights and tail lights offer more brightness, durability and efficiency compared to conventional bulbs. The 2SC2983, from DIOTEC is a 1.5A, 160V NPN power bipolar transistor. It is an ideal component for the constant current regulators used to drive these LEDs. The TO-252AA/D-PAK housing design is compact on the one hand and offers a large cooling surface on the other hand for dissipating the thermal power loss, which can be up to 15 W. This increases service life and reliability. But other switching and amplifier tasks can also be implemented with this component. Used in the LED driver, the 2SC2983 ensures reliable light – for more safety and driving pleasure!
