HOSIDEN has developed a high sound pressure level speaker for automotive usage.


Equipped with a baffle, this dynamic speaker unit has a 48mm outer diameter, speaker unit:ϕ40mm. Finding use not only for indicators or warnings from the onboard instrumentation but also for a variety of applications, including fire alarms or other alarms. Compared to our conventional products, this speaker unit is capable of a higher sound pressure level of 115dBSPL or more (*1) without compromising its flat frequency characteristics and wide bandwidth of 500Hz to 3350Hz. A vibration-resistant, heat-resistant resin frame made of a heat-resistant polymer film material has been adopted handling temperatures from -40℃  to 105℃, so reliable, stable operation under harsh conditions is assured. Furthermore, the development and production scheme is compliant with the IATF16949 specification for quality management, assuring automated production with consistent quality.
