Application of Yangxing Technology Differential Crystal Oscillator in High-definition Video Processor
Video processor devices are commonly used devices in high-definition digital signal processing, and they play an important role in the transmission and conversion of today's high-definition video data.

It can be seen from the application process of video processor equipment that all types of video terminal media need to be processed by video processing equipment and then presented on various display terminals (LED or LCD).
The main functions of video processor equipment include picture optimization (improving image quality), converting signal formats (converting multiple signal formats into HDMI signal formats), and control integration (preview, review, video acceleration or slow playback control), etc.

With the rapid development of FPGA devices, their high-speed and large-capacity programmable characteristics have made them widely used. The design requirements for multi-mode and multi-format require the use of FPGA for design, which mainly completes digital signal processing work. In addition, due to the high data volume and high speed requirements of TD-LTE and FDD-LTE, DDR2 is required as a storage medium for multi-mode signals or user data. After the baseband signal is generated, it needs to be converted by DAC and then modulated with a wideband quadrature modulator for transmission on the respective carriers. In addition, the generation of multi-mode and multi-standard signals requires the design of different symbol rates, and DDS frequency division is required to produce a high-resolution variable clock. Therefore, the design uses the "DDR2+FPGA+DAC+DDS+wideband modulator" hardware architecture.

As an important clock selection in the entire design, the FPGA modulation process is two signals with completely opposite phases to eliminate common mode noise, so an external crystal oscillator is generally used to achieve a higher performance system. In high-speed design, it is necessary to select signal levels with narrow level swings, support for long-distance transmission, and low power consumption. LVDS, LVPECL, CML, HCSL, and other levels have these characteristics, so they are called high-speed logic levels.
High-speed levels generally use differential technology and have the following application characteristics:
1. Strong anti-interference ability.
2. Weak requirements for the integrity of the reference level (ground plane or power plane).
3. Strong ability to suppress crosstalk and EMI.
4. Low power consumption, high speed, low jitter, and not affected by temperature and voltage fluctuations.
