Yint Offers a Solution Compliing with IEC61000-4-2 Air 15KV and Contact 8KV for ESD Protection of Microphones
Microphones are energy-conversion devices that convert sound signals into electrical signals. As equipment is in contact with the human body, there are ESD electrical hazards.
Standard signal maximums for microphone lines are typically 5.5Vp-p and maximum frequencies below 10kHz.
At this frequency, the capacitance of the suppressor does not need to be considered.
