Electric Vehicle Malfunctions Due to Lack of Fuses or Diodes

Installing a "fuse or diode" for an electric vehicle is the simplest solution, as the fuse or diode serves as a short-circuit protection. Someone has conducted experiments on an electric vehicle without a short-circuit protection device. After installing a short-circuit protection device, starting the power supply only caused the fuse to blow. Remove the added short-circuit protection device and restart the power supply. In an instant, smoke and flames flashed from the electric vehicle head.
Electric vehicles without fuses or diodes also pose another danger. If a child plugs a coin into the charging port, a short circuit can burn the handle. After installing a protective diode, whether a coin or a key is inserted into the charging port, there will be no reaction. It can make the charging port only enter but not exit, charging inside can be done, and there will be no leakage outside. Therefore, these few dollars are truly worth spending.
In real life, if a short circuit protection device is not installed in the main circuit, if the wire is damaged, the connector falls off, the circuit is aged, or the environment is damp, etc., the electric vehicle electrical circuit may generate abnormal current, causing a large amount of heat to accumulate locally in the wire, leading to high temperature aging of the wire and even fire.
