With immediate effect, FTG (Sub-brand of Amphenol-GIS) from Triberg complements its terminal product range with the STI Stud Terminal Series. This acts as an interface to the power distribution and is used primarily in relation to drive motors or in control cabinet construction. It ensures high safety and reduces maintenance work with its vibration resistance. Thanks to a fixed screw connection of the conductors with crimped cable lugs, a secure hold is guaranteed at all times.

The new FTG stud terminals guarantee a secure electrical connection and allow rated currents of up to 415 amps and an operating voltage of up to 1,000 volts. In addition, the STI series in the control cabinet offers space for at least two conductors with cable lugs – all with conductor cross-sections between 25 and 240 square millimeters.

The terminals can be arranged in any size directly on the mounting plate or DIN rail. The lateral breakout of the insulation allows a direct connection to a copper bridge. The clamps are available in the colors grey, green, blue, brown, red, and black in sizes 25, 50, 70, 95, 120, 150, 185, and 240 square millimeters. The material of the STI Isolated Stud Terminals is self-extinguishing and flame-retardant, in addition, it has a high tracking resistance.

FTG has continuously evolved over the past decades. The international company based in Triberg is an important employer for over 200 employees in the southern Black Forest region. World-renowned for the power distribution and interconnection components of many types of switchboards, FTG has constantly grown production areas to ensure production of the extensive product range of more than 10,000 products at its headquarters in Triberg.
