The One27® range offers a high level of flexibility and at the same time reliable connectors for a number of board-to-board applications. The product family is based on a pitch of 1.27mm, offers both straight and angled types as well as connections with ribbon cable, and is available in pin counts from 12 to 80 pins. The connectors are compatible with currently available products and their performance in tests has been excellent.

The connection produced by One27 connectors is established by means of a double-sided female contact that envelops the contact pin of the male connector. Even if the connection is offset, the contact on one side of the contact pin at the very least is still reliable. Moreover, the connector is plugged into the smooth, rolled surface of the female contact. Wear and tear of the contact surfaces and shavings become a thing of the past when using the One27 connectors.

ept One27 SMT PCB connectors with a pitch of 1.27mm are capable of doing just that, and much more: They are ideally suited for use in a number of mezzanine, board-to-board, and board-to-cable applications in SMT while featuring robustness and easy processing. What’s more, they are compatible with 1.27mm SMT connectors already on the market – a verified fact. There are three different types available to choose from, whether for male or female connection, and they all offer absolutely secure mating, meaning that you can implement nearly every board-to-board distance ranging from 8mm to 13.8mm in any PCB arrangement. In addition, ept offers the female One27 IDC both individually and as a customized cable assembly. This way, there is something for every application. For optimal handling of the SMT PCB connectors, ept guarantees that the deviation from coplanarity is only 0.1mm while offering an amazing capture range of ±0.7 mm ±4° (longitudinal), and ±2° (transversal).
