Crocus Technology delivers the future of high precision, high current contactless isolated current sense with dual footprint capability to enable dual sources. If you need small current to the significant current or dual source to performance differentiated, Crocus Technology has a complete portfolio of products for customers. Visit the product page for more details.

The CT452 (5V) and CT453 (3.3V) are high bandwidth and low noise integrated zero-loss contactless Current Sensors that use Crocus Technology’s patented XtremeSense® TMR technology to enable high accuracy current measurements for many consumer, enterprise, and industrial applications. It supports six (6) field ranges where the CT452/3 sense and translate the magnetic field into a linear analog output voltage. It achieves a total error output of less than ±1.0% over voltage and temperature.

These coreless current sensors are not only small in size and simple to design but also provide effective common mode field rejection of more than -50dB. This enables the CT452/3 to have greater than 90% immunity to stray magnetic fields thus having almost no impact on the accuracy of the current measurement.

They have less than 300ns output response time while the current consumption is about 6.0mA. The CT452/3 is equipped with a filter function to reduce the noise on the output pin.

Both CT452 and CT453 are housed in an industry-standard 8-lead SOIC package and a shallow profile, 8-lead TSSOP package that is both “green” and RoHS compliant.
