How are industrial connectors classified?

Current classification:

The current of industrial plugs and sockets is generally specified as 16a, 32a, 63A, 125A, and other series.

Voltage classification:

Voltage regulation: 110V, 220V, 380V, and other series.

Core quantity classification:

The standard 3-core industrial plug and socket use voltage is 220V-250V, and the shell color is blue; The voltage of 4-core and 5-core industrial plugs and sockets is 380V-415V, and the shell color is red.

Waterproof grade Classification:

The general regulations are: IP44 and IP67, the maximum current of IP44 is 63A, and the maximum current of IP67 is 125A.

Other knowledge points:

1. Sockets matched with industrial plugs are divided into concealed sockets, exposed sockets, and connectors;

2. The concealed socket must be used together with the power box and cannot be used alone;

3. The surface-mounted socket can be fixed on the ground, wall, or production line. If it needs to be fixed, it must be selected;

4. The connector is equivalent to a mobile socket, also known as a butt socket, and cannot be fixed; Power wiring in machine rooms and factories is mostly adopted.
