Micron M45PE 3V Page-erasable Serial NOR Flash Available Direct from Alliance Memory

Alliance Memory announces that the company is now the authorized source for genuine M45PE (AT45DB) 3V Serial NOR flash devices from Micron Technology, Inc., which Micron discontinued Micron PCN #32163 (last time buy: March 2018). Micron is still building these parts specifically for Alliance Memory, and under a special agreement with Micron, the company will continue to support them through 2021 and beyond.

The Context: Micron’s M45PE series products are page-erasable 3V Series NOR Flash memory devices accessed by SPI-compatible bus. The memory can be written or programmed 1 to 256 bytes at a time using the PAGE WRITE or PAGE PROGRAM command. The PAGE WRITE command consists of an integrated PAGE ERASE cycle, followed by a PAGE PROGRAM cycle.


Alliance Memory is committed to meeting its customers’ legacy component needs and has had great success working with Micron to provide continued support for a variety of devices, including 512M SDRAMs, 8G DDR3L SDRAMs, and M29F 5V flash. The company is continuing that success with these M45PE series parts, which provide its customers with a steady supply for a minimum of two more years. In addition, Alliance Memory announces a full line-up of other flash devices in Q3 2020.
