Elastisense Sensors are Working behind the Scenes 24/7 Monitoring the Swimming Pool‘s Structural Stability and Safety
While families are enjoying a good swim in the famous Copenhagen swimming stadium Bellahøj Svømmehal, ElastiSense sensors are working behind the scenes 24/7 monitoring the pool's structural stability and safety.
DS50 sensors are mounted across the structural joints at the base of this swimming pool to measure its expansion and contraction. Displacement measurement of the joints holds important information about the straining of the structure caused by load (water) as well as temperature and humidity variations. This information enables the owner of the asset to proactively identify potential cracks and deterioration of the joints thus predictive maintenance can be performed.
The DS50 sensors are connected to a wireless battery-driven datalogger, transmitting the measured data to the cloud which can then be accessed remotely by the owners and contractors.
