●Description of the Change: In an effort to make our product line more compatible with regulatory and environmental guidelines, we are changing the volume manufacturing process for our products to make them RoHS compliant according to Aavid Thermalloy specification RoHS 9000.
The current version of this product uses solderable tabs that are plated with a tin-lead finish. The RoHS compliant version will have a 100% matte tin finish per ASTM B545 with a nickel under-plate barrier of 1.9 to 3.8 um. Product built using this new plating process is identified with a "G" suffix at the end of the part number as shown above in Products Affected.
