Si4X6X AND EZR32 HIGH-POWER PA MATCHING
This application note describes the matching methods for the TX Power Amplifier (PA) on the Si4063/Si4463/64/68and EZR32 R63/68 RFICs. This document does not address the matching procedure for the PA on the Si4060/Si4460/61/67 or EZR32 R60/61/67/55 RFICs. Since the output power level on the Si4060/Si4460/61/67 andEZR32 R60/61/67/55 RFIC is considerably lower than on the Si4063/Si4463/64/68 and EZR32 R63/68 RFIC, the matching procedure is somewhat different. The matching procedure of the Si4060/Si4460/61/67 and EZR32 R60/61/67/55 is described in "AN627: Si4x6x and EZR32 Low-Power PA Matching". The cross references in Table 1 list the application note numbers for the different IC types. Table 1 also summarizes the advantages and disadvantages of the different matching methods.
