The Chem-Gard® 150 Cable with Defender® Technology is a high-temperature and chemical-resistant cable designed for control and instrumentation applications. It can withstand a maximum conductor temperature of 150°C / 300°F and is resistant to the growth of 99% of bacteria, fungus, and mold on the cable jacket. The cable features silver ion-based additives for long-lasting protection, making it suitable for environments where cleanliness is crucial. It is engineered to resist abrasion, high and cold temperatures, and chemicals. The cable offers finely stranded tinned copper conductors, fluoropolymer insulation, and a braid shield for enhanced flexibility, dielectric, tensile, and mechanical properties. It is suitable for applications where harsh chemicals and lubricating oils are present.
