The ECMsm is a compact, highly integrated all-in-one motion controller and drives solution from the Economical Control Modules (ECM) series. It is designed for OEMs with cost-sensitive motion control applications. The ECMsm features a multiprocessor architecture and universal servo drive technology, allowing for control of various types of motors and stages. It offers a range of features including high-speed position capture inputs, limit sensor inputs, brake outputs, and various communication interfaces. The controller supports logic supply input, drive supply input, amplifiers for different motor types, and a variety of communication interfaces such as Ethernet, RS-232, and SPI. It also includes real-time programming capabilities, profile generation, and advanced servo control algorithms.
