Secondary Containment Monitoring System

2025-03-19
The secondary containment monitoring (SCM) system is designed to detect leaks in double-wall piping, tanks, and sumps. It uses the siphon/vacuum port of a submersible turbine pump to draw a vacuum on these interstitial spaces and continuously monitors the vacuum levels to detect potential leaks. The system can connect up to four different containments to each submersible turbine pump and utilizes AUTO-LEARN® technology for precise leak detection. It also features alarms for vacuum loss or liquid detection and is compatible with FE PETRO® and Red Jacket® STPs. The system requires specific components and software for installation and operation.
