This data sheet provides detailed information about the TAC ULTRA Automatic Contact Crimpers by Tri-Star Technologies Inc. The TAC ULTRA is a fully automatic, wire-triggered crimping system designed for high crimp rates, up to 900 crimps per hour. It features a wire funnel to prevent bird caging, a wire size selector with a built-in sensor, and accepts 16-26 AWG wire. The system meets Mil-C-22520/7 specification and is suitable for crimping most closed barrel contacts, accommodating both shouldered and shoulder-less style contacts. It includes an automatic feed from a vibratory bowl, automatic shutdown in case of malfunction, and all functions are PLC controlled with a simple HMI display. The dimensions are 21” H, 17” W, 21” D, and it requires 120V, 60 Hz power (220V, 50 Hz optional).
