The Scan®50pro is a manual colony counter designed with ergonomic features for posture, vision, and audition support. It utilizes Dark Field 2 technology for precise LED lighting of colonies, ensuring high contrast and glare-free colony lighting. The device allows for the export of counting results to a computer via USB, ensuring data traceability. It features a painted steel body, a counting and setting LCD screen, a storage hatch for counting grids, an inclined and padded counting surface, and adjustable white LED intensity. The counter is suitable for various types of supports, including Petri dishes, PetriFilm, Compact Dry, MC-Media Pads, and easyPlate. It offers touch surface sensitivity adjustment, a 180° HandPad for left or right forearm, various counting tones, and a headset for sound reception and isolation. The device also includes a magnifying lens, counting keys duplicated on each keyboard side, and USB port for data transfer to a computer. It is designed and manufactured in France and complies with various international standards.
