AN/APS-153(V) Multi-Mode Radar

The AN/APS-153(V) is a multi-mode radar designed by TTM Technologies for the U.S. Navy MH-60R Multi-Mission Helicopter. It is designed to meet the demanding maritime performance requirements of the helicopter, providing capabilities for anti-submarine warfare, anti-surface warfare, C4ISR, surface surveillance, maritime interdiction, combat search and rescue, MedEvac, logistical support, identification friend or foe, battle damage assessment, and naval surface fire support. The radar features high-resolution imaging, long-range surface search, and small target detection, and is integrated into the MH-60R's avionics suite. It also includes an IFF interrogator and is capable of operating from small combatants to aircraft carriers.
