LDIC的Serial ATA IP Core，LD-LLC-0001-050，提供链路和传输层。该宏完全符合Serial ATA Gen.1规范。该桥接器旨在将ATA 66、ATA 100、ATA 133和ATA 150硬盘驱动器适配到Serial ATA主机或并行主机到串行ATA接口。并行ATA块直接连接到IDE主机或IDE设备（或目标）。PHY接口基于行业标准XGMII接口定义，并增加了一些用于Serial ATA环境的信号。PHY通过20位传输和独立的20位接收数据总线连接到IP的ATA块。这两个总线在传输时钟（TBC）和接收时钟（RBC）上采样。PHY和ATA/Serial ATA块可以单独或一起测试。这是通过设备上的TEST_MUX和TEST_ENABLEN引脚实现的。
