da217 Intelligent, triaxial acceleration sensor

The da217 is an ultra-low power, high-performance capacitive three-axis linear accelerometer developed using micro-machined technology. It features a single crystal silicon sensor element, protected by a hermetically sealed silicon cap. The sensor offers 14-bit digital resolution, temperature compensation, motion detection, step counter, step detection, and significant motion detection. It is targeted for applications in mobile phones, PMPs, display orientation, gesture recognition, active monitoring, free-fall detection, power management, vibration monitoring, and step counter. The sensor comes in a 2x2x0.9mm LGA-12 package and has a wide operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C.
