da218 Intelligent, triaxial acceleration sensor

The da218 is an ultra-low power, high-performance capacitive three-axis linear accelerometer developed using micro-machined technology. It features a single crystal silicon sensor element, protected by a hermetically sealed silicon cap. The sensor offers a 12-bit digital resolution and user-selectable full scale measurement ranges of ±2g, ±4g, ±8g, with data output rates from 1Hz to 1000Hz. Target applications include user interfaces for mobile phones and PMPs, display orientation, gesture recognition, active monitoring, power management, and vibration monitoring.
