●SpecSeal® Cast-In Firestop Devices are a sleeve, a concrete core, firestop, and watertight seal. The device incorporates an intumescent firestopping system that acts as a flexible fire and smoke-sealing system. The 2 in (51 mm), 3 in (76 mm), 4 in (102 mm) and 6 in (152 mm) devices are sized to accommodate both metal and plastic pipes ranging from 1.5 in (38 mm) to 6 in (152 mm) trade sizes. Each respective size has extensions available that feature an adjustable pin allowing variable heights of 8” through 36” to cover a wide range of concrete thicknesses. The sleeve is bidirectional allowing for both floor and ceiling penetration. Accessories are available to adapt SpecSeal® Cast-In Firestop Devices to other uses. Available accessories include a steel deck kit to facilitate installation in fluted metal deck as well as tub box and aerator adapter.
