MICRO SERIES FUSION SPLICE PROTECTION SLEEVE

●Splice Technologies’ “MICRO” Series fusion splice protection sleeve is designed specifically for use in optical splitter/coupler or similar packages, with an after shrink diameter of 1.6mm, while accommodating up to a 450um diameter fiber. Stock lengths are 25 & 40mm, but also available in 15, 20, & 30mm. This product is constructed with an EVA meltable adhesive inner tube, a polyolefin heat shrink outer tube, and a stainless steel strength member. The tubes are clear to allow viewing of the fiber during and after splicing. This product has been proportionately downsized using the same core materials, formulations and manufacturing processes that are used in our “Standard” series product. The entire assembly is designed to ensure that all members maintain perfect alignment during shipping handling and shrinking. We are proud to say that all of our products are made here in the USA and most sleeves are in stock ready for immediate delivery.
