CR-1S Series LOW-VOLTAGE EPOXY-CAST CURRENT TRANSFORMERS for Indoor Use (Window-Type)
●Introduction
■Designed to meet the requirement of a higher current ratio and a higher accuracy, current transformers CR-1S Series have a greater window diameter, which facilitates installation and wiring in a high-current application (with the busbar or multiple insulated wires as the primary conductor). This convenient installation and wiring method decreases the occurrence rate of contact point failure. Multi-ratio models are available upon request (e.g. 4000-2000/5A or 4000-2000-1000/5A). In the multi-ratio models,the burden changes according to its corresponding current ratio, as is stipulated by IEEE and IEC regulations. Insulated with Araldite® epoxy resin, CR-1S Series current transformers are characterized by a pleasing exterior, excellent moisture resistance, and a high level of insulation.
