ISM6636C 5V to 16V Input, 6A Sync Step-Down Converter with Integrated Inductor and Digital Power Management with Telemetry
■The ISM6636C is a high power density, fully integrated synchronous buck converter. It is also easy to use since it is fully integrated with output inductor and capacitors. It works with wide input voltage range and can support up to 6A continuous output current. LDO is integrated internally, which is very suitable for single input supply condition. External bias is optional for maximizing the efficiency. A differential sensing scheme and a 0.6V internal feedback reference voltage achieve ±1% output voltage tolerance over full temperature range. The ISM6636C provides excellent line and load regulations.
■The ISM6636C can also support I2C serial interface communication. It can be programmed to support both fast mode and fast mode plus. In addition, it provides telemetry reading for PVIN, VOUT and Temp.
■The ISM6636C has fully integrated protection features including pre-bias start- up, soft-start protection, over current protection(OCP), negative over current protection(NOCP) , over voltage protection (OVP), under voltage protection(UVP) and over temperature protection (OTP) with auto-recovery.
