●The DIAMOND C-40 laser is a sealed-off, RF excited CO 2 laser, capable of continuous wave (CW) or modulated operation. From the laser safety point of view, this laser is considered to be a component and must be integrated into a system by a qualified original equipment manufacturer (OEM) prior to delivery to the end user. See the section titled “Laser Safety Requirements” on page 2-5 for a complete discussion of laser safety issues.
