Switches RoHS Declaration of Conformity

2023-05-24
According to our current state of knowledge some of our products of the product range Switches may include the hazardous substance of Schedule A1 lead above the maximum concentration value of 0.1% tolerated by weight in homogeneous materials. Schedule A2 of UK RoHS allows exemptions of the limits stated in Schedule A1, e.g. with exemption 18 lead is allowed in copper alloys with a share of up to 4% w/w. Some components of our products contain copper alloys with a lead share of up to 4% w/w. Components which contain such a copper alloy and also their related products make use of this exemption, they are also UK RoHS conform. Currently we are working to reduce the lead share to the allowed threshold of maximum 0.1% in homogeneous materials. Therefore, we preferentially follow the specifications and the transitional periods of the EU RoHS Directive and will change our products accordingly.
