E51 Photoelectric Sensor Heads Installation Instructions
● Solid-state plug-in switch bodies are available for use with the photoelectric sensor head in several configurations with different optional features.
● The photoelectric sensor heads can be mounted in any one of four discrete positions, located ninety degrees apart.
● The sensor head is powered by the switch body. It contains both a source and a detector, and all the electronic circuitry necessary to produce and detect a modulated infrared light beam. The light produced is in the invisible spectrum. Because the detector is “tuned” to receive the modulated infrared light, it is unaffected by ambient light. Two configurations of the photoelectric sensor heads are available: Diffuse-Reflective and Reflex heads.
