●There’s more happening than you think . . .
■Electrical testing is one of those areas where nothing much seems to have changed for the last ten or more years. The tests are still the same and, at first glance, we’re still using the same sorts of instruments. But dig a little deeper and you’ll find the reality is rather different.
■While it’s true that the basic principles of testing were set many years ago, Megger continues to push forward with innovation in this sector, always with the aim of making life easier, safer and more convenient for its customers.
■In 2006, for example, we pioneered two-wire non-trip loop testing which built on existing principles and techniques. And now, with our new MFT1741 multifunction tester, we’ve introduced an entirely new model for loop impedance testing. This gives faster and more accurate measurements than are possible with current methods, especially when testing on systems with high electrical noise levels or circuits with phantom impedances.
■Take a few minutes to look through this catalogue, and you’ll find a whole range of other innovations, all developed specifically to help you work more efficiently and more profitably.
