Manufacturer Declaration of Non-Use of Persistent Bioaccumulative Toxic Substances

●The Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) and associated regulations allow the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to restrict the use of certain substances, including PBT chemicals, in order to address any risk associated with these chemicals and to help reduce exposure. On January 6, 2021, the EPA issued final rules under Section 6(h) of the TSCA.
●These new rules became effective on February 5, 2021 and will restrict the use of five PBT chemicals.
●Traco Electronic AG hereby declares that all TRACO POWER products (and packaging) are TSCA compliant and do not contain any of the following TSCA Section 6(h) substances:
■Decabromodiphenyl ether (DecaBDE)
■Phenol, isopropylated phosphate (3:1) (PIP (3:1))
■2,4,6-Tris(tert-butyl) phenol (2,4,6-TTBP)
■Hexachlorobutadiene (HCBD)
■Pentachlorothiophenol (PCTP)
●TRACO POWER products which have been removed from the sales program (obsolete products) are excluded from coverage of this declaration.
