■FIREFLEX® WRAP (FIW) protects and shields important hoses and cables from extreme heat and catastrophic flame outbreaks. It protects continuously to 500°F and will withstand a molten splash at 2,200°F. Its unique hook and loop closure system allows for installation without the need to remove and reconnect fittings and terminations. The reusable closure additionally allows for easy repair, minimizing labor and costly downtime.

■FIREFLEX® FLAT (FIF) provides the same protection against exposure to extreme heat, open flame, and molten splash as the FireFlex® sleeve, but in a versatile tape. It is specifically designed to protect components of irregular shape, such as hose splitter assemblies and cable splices. The heavy silicone coating maintains flexibility while resisting all automotive chemicals and solvents, and providing an increased level of abrasion protection. It is common for FireFlex® Flat to be over-wrapped at 50%, providing a double-layer of protection. Once installed, it can be easily secured with tie-wraps, wire ties, and hose clamps.
