●COMPONENT – CAPACITORS (CYWT2, CYWT8)
●This Follow-Up Service Procedure authorizes the above Manufacturer(s) to use the marking specified by UL LLC, or any authorized licensee of UL LLC, including the UL Contracting Party, only on products when constructed, tested and found to be in compliance with the requirements of this Follow-Up Service Procedure and in accordance with the terms of the applicable service agreement with UL Contracting Party and any applicable Service Terms. The UL Contracting Party for Follow-Up Services is listed on addendum to this Follow-Up Service Procedure ("UL Contracting Party"). UL Contracting Party and UL LLC are referred to jointly herein as "UL."
●DESCRIPTION
■PRODUCT COVERED: USR, CNR Component - Capacitors, Oil Filled, Internally Protected, cat. No. CBB65 Series (Round type).
●GENERAL
■The capacitors covered by this Report are oil-filled type intended for use with electric discharge lighting control equipment, motor circuits, power supplies, industrial control equipment, refrigeration equipment, and similar applications. They are provided with an internal protective device to prevent case rupture under capacitor fault conditions at specified levels of voltage and fault current.
■The internal protector is pressure sensitive interrupter.
■The dielectric medium is oil.
●ENGINEERING CONSIDERATIONS (NOT FOR FIELD REPRESENTATIVE’S USE):
■Use - For use only in complete equipment where the acceptability of the combination is determined by Underwriters Laboratories Inc.
■USR indicates investigation to Part I of UL 810, standard for Capacitors, Fifth Edition.
■CNR indicates investigation to Canadian Standard C22.2 No. 190, Capacitors for Power Factor Correction.
